Long-term investments prove their worth: Record-breaking year for Mekoprint

Mekoprint Holding A/S published the company’s annual report for 20176/2017 today. It shows unprecedented revenue and increased profits. Great figures are a result of a long-term growth strategy with equal focus on clients, employees and profitability.

Mekoprint implemented a strategy for growth in 2015. The company aims to double revenue and profits – and set new standards for customer and employee satisfaction by 2020. The annual report published today indicates that Mekoprint is well on the way to achieving its ambitious targets. The financial figures show that net revenue increased from DKK 354 million to 400 million and pre-tax profits almost doubled from DKK 10.7 million in 2015/2016 to 20.1 million in 2016/2017. CEO Anders Kold is very pleased with these results:

“A series of acquisitions negatively impacted the figures in the last financial year. These acquisitions helped us to create growth, but also affected the bottom-line result. The negative impact of earlier acquisitions continues in the financial year 2016/2017 but growth is now organic, and driven by new and pre-existing clients. Our unique approach to working with clients is evidently something our clients appreciate – and they have rewarded us for it. I am very proud of our organisation. Each and every person in sales, R&D, production and customer services does his or her utmost to make life easier for our clients.”
Mekoprint swears by its motto, “Creating together”, which applies in-house and to the company's approach to clients. Where external relationships are concerned, the company sees every client as a partner and engages in an open dialogue with them about product development, challenges and opportunities to optimise. Within the company, there is strong esprit de corps. In 2017, Mekoprint was nominated one of Denmark’s best workplaces. “I am firmly convinced that the results we publish today are due solely to our unique approach and commitment to strong cooperation, both inside the company and with external partners,” said Anders Kold.

This year's results allow Mekoprint to make new investments in the future. In 2017/2018 alone, Mekoprint aims to invest at a record-breaking level, i.e. In excess of DKK 50 million.
