A daily life at Mekoprint for 22 years

I often start my day by finding the materials I need. Together with my colleague, we cut the materials and prepare them for the next stage of the production process.

Over my 22 years here, I've had my hands in almost every part of the production. We work by a mantra where we all help wherever we can. This helpfulness and versatility are why I've enjoyed Mekoprint as a workplace for over two decades.

We always help each other

My colleagues and I come from different backgrounds and have different personalities, but our mutual understanding and acceptance of each other bind us together. I find that my colleagues are always ready with a helping hand or a well-meaning piece of advice, which makes me want to give the same back.

Improvement suggestions are always welcome

My manager always encourages us to come up with new suggestions on how we can improve processes. This fuels my curiosity because I can bring my input to everyday tasks.

It means a lot to me to be attentive to the details in the materials and machines I work with. Since I share responsibility for the first stage of our production, it is crucial to be mindful of quality and improvements.

The joy of going to work

One of the best things about my job is the freedom I have. My colleague and I coordinate how to manage our day in the best possible way.

The flexibility, my manager's focus on feedback, and the quarterly satisfaction surveys make me feel valued and cared for.

Fun fact

Outside of work, I have a passion for mountain biking. Therefore, my family and I take our gravel bikes on summer vacation – preferably for four weeks straight so we can really put some miles on our bikes.
