The Danish-based Grundfos is one of world's leading pump manufacturers. For one of their high-runners - a circulator pump - we were selected to supply the graphic overlays. This partnership highlights our ability to meet high-volume production demands with precision and efficiency.

Our task: cost-efficient solution for a high-volume product

As a high volume product, the cost per unit was of the essence. Our approach therefore centered around:

design for manufacturing - tailoring design processes to align seamlessly with mass production techniques
fully automated processes - eliminating all manual processes by using an automated roll-to-roll production line that handles everything from silk screen printing to the precise die-cutting
delivery on rolls for automated assembly - directly integrated into Grundfos’ manufacturing line for the New Alpha2 pump, facilitating smooth, continuous production.

Adhesive backing is added to the overlays in an automated process on the production line.

The overlays are die-cut precisely using the latest cutting technology and vision control.

Embossed keys and deadfront effect are some of the design features of the graphic overlay, ensuring reliable user interaction with the pump.

The graphic overlays are delivered on rolls and prepared for seamless integration with Grundfos' production line.
