Bacteria can’t survive on antibacterial keypads
Mekoprint are currently focused on developing antibacterial membrane keybpads for use in professions with a high focus on hygiene. The keyboards are surface-treated with a coating that makes it impossible for bacteria to survive.
We have to look out for each other
Over the course of the day, humans come into contact with a myriad of surfaces. Surfaces where bacteria can accumulate and be transmitted. Keypads, in particular, are often used by many different people, and for that reason they require frequent cleaning. Especially recently, Mekoprint have seen increasing demand for antibacterial keykeyboards which feature a treated surface that makes it difficult for bacteria to survive.
“We have to look out for ourselves and each other. Antibacterial keypads are of particularly high value in laboratories, hospitals, and in the food industry, where hygiene is a top priority,” explains Torben Junget, Business Development Manager at Mekoprint Graphic Electronics.
A business partner who provides peace of mind
Since the advent of COVID-19, there has been major focus on products that are easy to clean. Working closely with their customers, Mekoprint develop and produce control solutions that meet the high hygiene requirements of 2021. Every effort is made to create a professional, user-friendly and aesthetic product that customers can easily incorporate into their own solutions and increase end-users’ overall experience of high product value.
“We take customers by the hand and accompany them throughout the entire process, from A to Z. We also challenge them if we think it will give them a better product in the end,” explains Business Development Manager Domenic Breitbart Nielsen, who finds that customers obtain significant peace of mind from that particular collaborative process.
Antibacterial and streamlined design
For the past year, more than ever before, there has been a focus on keeping our distance and sanitising our hands. Mekoprint work in close collaboration with partners who prioritise making their products easy to disinfect. Responding to customers’ wishes, the membrane keypads that are produced, are both aesthetic, ergonomic and antibacterial. The keypads are designed so they can be integrated into customers’ products without prominent recesses and edges where bacteria can accumulate.
