Engraved metal nameplates and components

As a metal nameplate manufacturer, Mekoprint delivers engraved metal nameplates and components for local as well as global companies.

We have extensive experience in delivering unique laser engraved solutions for demanding industries such as the medico, electronics and automotive industries – all industries with high requirements for, among other things, identification marking.

In January 2019, our production of fine mechanical sheet metal solutions was supplemented with fiber laser cutting and welding. This, combined with laser engraving, allows us to supply a wide range of engraved metal nameplates and components, regardless of volume.

Laser engraving with great benefits

Laser engraving and laser marking have taken over from the traditional engraving methods. The engraving process uses a light beam, which “burns” a permanent marking into the material surface.
The method is flexible, cost-effective and fast. It can therefore be used for prototypes as well as serial production.

Custom engraved metal nameplates

Laser engraving is especially suitable for various forms of identification on industrial nameplates, for example etched nameplates in brass with part/serial numbers.

For 65 years, our experienced design team has provided effective support within the development and production of engraved nameplates with marking of serial numbers, text and QR codes.

Engraved components

With a rotary table, we can rotate and engrave on e.g. machined components with complex geometries.

We can engrave within the work area of 450x450mm, which makes it possible to engrave on larger components.

We can engrave on a wide range of metals and surface coatings, as well as a variety of plastic materials.

Mekoprint offers completely finished engraved components, processed by technologies such as etching, stamping, laser cutting, turning and milling. With in-house surface treatments, we are able to manufacture e.g. anodized aluminum nameplates with engraving.

Control of engraved metal nameplates and components

Our automated optical measuring machine, Nikon VMA-2520, makes it possible to control the engraved signs with text, logo or numbering wherever this is required.
