INSULATION FOIL FOR EXISTING OR NEW CONSTRUCTION
If the construction requires that the power supply or other components are insulated from the rest of the apparatus, a shielding insulation foil from Mekoprint can be a competitive solution.

The insulation foil is also suitable for shielding between two prints or between the print and the chassis.

The existing structure of the final product is always the starting point in the design of insulation foil. The addition of insulating shielding does not necessarily require a change in the existing structure.

Prototypes can be laser cut and delivered in a few days – designed based on customer specifications and needs.

 

UL-94 APPROVED MATERIALS
Mekoprint can use special materials, if the end product must meet the requirements for UL approval.

With an insulation foil from Mekoprint, it is easy to add shielding that helps with UL approval of the final product.

DESIGN

An insulation foil is produced from a thin synthetic foil which is electrically insulating and has high strength and a long life.

Depending on the design of the apparatus, shielding foils can be designed so as to be completely flat (2D) or with bends (3D). The design of the shielding foil is stamped. Furthermore, the foil can have an adhesive on all or part of the shielding foil, so that the foil can be placed exactly where it is desired.

Delivery of foils is optimised for the customer’s further production. Foils can be delivered as single items, in sheets or on rolls – with or without adhesive. Whatever the preference, delivery is optimised for easy assembly on the customer’s production line.

PRINTS AND EFFECTS

Insulation foils can be delivered with or without print. If printing of identification number, warnings, instructions, manuals or otherwise is desired, the graphic print can be performed as digital printing or screen printing.

In some cases, an electrically conductive paste may be advantageously applied to increase the insulating effect of the foil even further.
