In ideation phase, the task is to find the right design direction. Ideation workshop and concept catalogue with several design concepts are typical activities in this phase.

Design verification gives a physical proof of concept. 3D printed samples, colour tests, print tests or fidelity prototypes are usually the types of verifications made at this stage.

The designed solutions is matured and put to the test in the engineering phase. Typical activities at this stage are mechanical drawings, stack-ups, test specifications, prototypes out of soft tool, etc.

At this stage in the development, we work on verifying the production setup and series tool. We also get the first out of tool parts, prepare the logistic setup, and prepare for series production.

The list of services is long in the life cycle engineering phase. They are all designed to ensure a continuous success of your product throughout its lifetime.

Rapid prototying

We support fast and realistic prototyping of your HMI solution. This includes both rigid and soft mock-ups:

Stiff 3D‑printed mock‑up (PLA): initial shape and layout checks can be done quickly using 3d printed models in PLA. These prototypes are rigid and cost‑efficient—but limited in detail and cannot provide realistic button function or tactility.
Silicone‑moulded sample: from in‑house 3D-mould to evaluate tactile feel, We provide a higher‑fidelity option with a 3D-printed mould which we fill with liquid silicone (shore 50A), and use a metal dome under a plastic backing sheet to simulate the tactile feedback of a real button. This approach delivers detailed shape accuracy and realistic feel, without the cost of steel tooling.
High‑fidelity prototype: at the highest level, prototypes are created using actual steel tooling. Steel tooling offers exceptional precision, surface quality and material fidelity. This enables full validation before series production.
