Targeted capacity expansion
Following strong growth and rising demand for precision micro components, Mekoprint Microturn is now investing in three new Citizen Swiss-type automatic lathes. The investment strengthens micro-turning production capacity to meet demand from industries from defense and drone technology to medical equipment and hearing aids.
Strong market growth drives expansion
Micro components are increasingly essential in modern technology, as products become smaller and more complex. Mekoprint Microturn is experiencing this development firsthand as revenue has increased by more than 20% since 2024, and in the first half of 2025 alone, more than 19 million micro-turned components were produced.
New machines secure capacity and flexibility
The three new Citizen Swiss-type lathes are already installed at Mekoprint’s micro turning facilities in Støvring and Humlebæk in Denmark. The machines are intended both to secure capacity for existing projects and to make room for new collaborations without compromising on precision, quality, or delivery times. They are a key step toward future-proofing the company’s production.
