New ways to optimize production with box-build solutions

After several acquisitions in the past two years, Mekoprint now has unique capabilities to assemble components into complete product solutions. One new feature is "optically clear bonding" (OCA bonding) of front panels with touchscreens, which can be developed and manufactured as a complete box-build solution in Denmark.

Often, series production ends up with one or more of Mekoprint's partners in Asia. However, for flexible deliveries or special quality assurance requirements, final assembly in Denmark or other Mekoprint locations in Europe may be the most efficient solution.

Coordinating multiple suppliers remotely and managing inventory can be challenging. However, these processes can be optimized by consolidating them with a single partner at the finished box-build level. Dorthe Leth, Team Leader in Mekoprint Seritronics’ technical department, brings over 16 years of experience in this area:

Communication equipment for challenging weather conditions

Mekoprint has extensive experience in developing and delivering box-build solutions suited for challenging weather conditions and environments. This was a particular focus in the collaboration with Saab to develop a communications product for ships that needed to withstand both saltwater and sunlight.

Based on the strict requirements for durability and functionality, Mekoprint Seritronic, together with Saab, developed a unique control panel as a complete box-build solution.
