Mekoprint has made targeted investments in the expansion of Mekoprint’s IT platform, which today has created a digital workflow which, in many areas, creates great advantages for the cooperation with the company’s customers. Today, Mekoprint’s production is 100% paperless. All information is digitised and can be extracted via 180 staff-operated iPads on the production floors in real time.

The digital workflow is a central hub for Mekoprint, which also offers an IT system that is always open, so that the company’s customers can get in touch around the clock. By logging into Mekoprint’s Extranet, the company’s customers will always have access to relevant information about the cooperation. Mekoprint also offers EDI, which can be used in communicating with our customers.

COMMUNICATE WITH MEKOPRINT AROUND THE CLOCK

EXTRANET

Mekoprint offers its customers and suppliers access to a so-called Extranet, where you can access information on the trade with Mekoprint. Amongst other things, it is possible to retrieve copies of invoices, list purchase orders and exchange technical documentation. Specific information can be provided to customers and suppliers.

The Extranet can be accessed from anywhere in a regular browser.

EDI – ELECTRONIC DATA INTERCHANGE

Mekoprint offers its customers and suppliers electronic communication between Mekoprint’s own IT systems and the IT systems of customers and suppliers. This optimises the workflow between the customer’s company and Mekoprint regarding orders, deliveries, forecasts and invoicing. Mekoprint uses EDI to communicate with customers and suppliers.

STANDARD

Mekoprint uses the EDIFACT standard and handles, amongst other things, the following document types:

  • ORDERS
  • ORDCHG
  • DELFOR
  • DESADV
  • INVOIC
  • ORDRSP

Mekoprint prefers to receive and send EDI rather than SFTP, but we can also send and receive on FTP, OFTP2, email or otherwise, if our customer or supplier prefers it.

PAPERLESS PRODUCTION

100 iPads have replaced PC and paper in Mekoprint’s production, which has resulted in a much more efficient and flexible production. With iPads, all the production data is available online on each employee’s tablet via apps developed by Mekoprint’s own IT department.

The introduction of a paperless production strongly supports Mekoprint’s excellent cooperation with customers, as the effectiveness of having all the data collected on a mobile device is obvious to everyone.
