GREATER AWARENESS WITH PLATE PRINTING
Plate printing, front panels and POS (point of sale) displays focusing on design, aesthetics and high quality all create attraction.

Digital printing and screen printing directly on metal or acrylic sheets over 0.5 mm in thickness are particularly suitable as visual attractions on buildings, walls or products.

Mekoprint recommends acrylic, polyester or metal sheets, as these materials are all robust and resistant to environmental impacts such as temperature, UV and salts in the air.

Plate printing can be performed as digital printing and screen printing – or as a combination of the two technologies. The plate may be post-treated and bent after printing, without cracking.

In all phases of the development of signs, the customer is free to draw on Mekoprint’s expertise. Experience shows that customers who get in touch in the early development phase get the greatest benefit. Mekoprint is happy to contribute expert knowledge of materials and colours from the first design phase. Mekoprint can also contribute knowledge about which printing technology is best suited with respect to the design expression and impact of the application environment.

In cooperation with the customer, Mekoprint develops a viable solution with optimisation of the customer’s message and user experience. High quality, optimised production and input for the development process are matters of course.

DESIGN

Plate printing, panels and signs with digital printing and screen printing can be a simple way to emphasise the customer’s message and give an impression of quality. The design possibilities are endless.

Mekoprint handles large formats and print on rolls as effectively as smaller runs and sizes.

The standard formats Mekoprint delivers in one piece are up to 1.5 x 2.5 m, or on rolls in widths of up to 2.5 m. In case a larger format is needed, Mekoprint are happy to help you find a solution where several prints are joined.

The material used for plate printing and signs is of great importance to the final result.

All materials have different unique characteristics that, in combination with digital printing or screen printing, can give that special impression which you want to achieve.

Extra impact from plate printing or signs can be achieved:

  • By combining different surface finishes, graphic elements in the design can be highlighted
  • By using resin layers, a 3D effect is achieved which gives the design protection against wear and extra depth as an emblem
