Digital printing

Digital printing on flexible, self-adhesive foils or sheets of metal and plastic is a core competence at Mekoprint.

The technology is often used alone or in combination with screen printing for the production of industrial graphic solutions, where the advantages can be utilised optimally.

In digital printing, all colours are applied in one process via nozzles that print the colour on the item’s surface.  Since all colours are printed in one operation, you can create images with colour gradients and transitions.

FOILS AND SHEETS
As standard, printing is done on the following solid sheets and foils. However, Mekoprint likes to be challenged if the customer prefers to use other materials.

• Plexiglass sheets
• Metal sheets
• Flexible plastic foils

COLOURS
Digital printing is particularly suitable for printing many colours and shades, where the entire CMYK gamut can be used.

Digital ink is semi-transparent. In order to achieve a gorgeous and uniform expression, this can be compensated by printing a solid background colour under the motif, either as screen printing or digital.
