For more than 15 years, we have collaborated with Ambu on printed electronics for one of their most widely used ECG sensors, also known in the market as the "blue sensor".
Due to our automated and streamlined production, we deliver approximately 150 million sensors to our partner every year.
Ambu has high demands on quality, product design and development capacity, on-time delivery, acceptable lead-time, cost, technical capacity and flexibility and resilience in the supply chain. Mekoprint can meet Ambu's requirements on all parameters.

Efficient production with a focus on quality
Ambu outsourced production to us because we are able to produce very large volumes at an attractive price, and our roll-to-roll production gives us control over the entire process. The collaboration means that Ambu can focus on its core competencies while Mekoprint handle the production.
Developing solutions together with Ambu
The collaboration with Ambu has evolved over the years - not least because Mekoprint places great emphasis on developing better solutions together with customers. We work very closely with Ambu on logistics, as security of supply is extremely important. With a setup where our printed sensors are stored at Ambu in Malaysia, we organise production according to Ambu's forecast. This way they can always be sure that they have the quantities they need.
